Halloween

I am so sad to say we only have one picture of Clara's Halloween costume.  Plenty of video, but only one picture.  This is it.  The only word she could say at the time, other than 'Mom' and 'Dad', was 'Nanna' her favorite food.  Hence, the Banana costume.  The highlight of her night?  Standing at the door, handing out candy to the neighborhood kids with Dad.

(we need a new camera!)

Thursday Crowd

We love 'The Office'  (who doesn't?) and for the better part of 2 years, we spent most Thursday nights with our friends Jonathan and Sarah, and James and Minhui.  Even though we eventually moved 30 minutes away from eachother, we still managed to meet up for dinner and our favorite Thursday night TV.  Sad to say that Jonathan, Sarah and Little Laura moved to California, and James and Min are on a trip around the world for the next 8 months- well deserved to a recent PhD (way to go Min!!)
WE MISS OUR THURSDAY NIGHTS!!
But wish the best to our good friends.

APPLESAUCE!!

In October, Jonathan and Sarah visited from California to make applesauce.  THE BEST applesauce ever!  We made a huge mess, and had lots of fun!  James and Min came over, and so did Aubrey, Paul, Ava and Max!  I wish you could see the clock in these pictures.  It says 12:16 (am!)

Lunch date!  Spontaneity is the mother of all invention!  Who knew that sandwich shops don't have utensils?  I actually like the idea of eating applesauce with a straw- a lot less messy and much quicker!

For Grampie

Here are a few pictures of one of Clara's signs.  As commonly seen throughout the day, she is standing at the pantry door giving me the sign for 'cookie'. Who can resist?

I This entry is labeled 'For Grampie' because of the BYU shirt.
We love you Grampie!  Go Cougs!

Family Photos

Our friend and really good photographer, Emily Parker, came back to Washington for a visit, and took some family pictures.  It was an eventful night, we had fun, and the pics turned out great!  Here are a few.

September Birthday visit

In September, Grammie and Grampie came to visit.
We went to the BYU football game.  Pretty cool view, right?

I had another good football picture, but it took forever to upload.
 These will have to do.
We had a great time!  It was a close game with a few controversial calls.

We celebrated Adam's and Joan's birthdays.
Happy Birthday!

Clara with our neighbor across the street- Sam.

In the Eagle!

Giving Grampie and Grammie kisses!
We always have so much fun when Grammie and Grampie come to visit.

At the end of September, Clara and I went over to Idaho
to spend time with family and friends.

It was so much fun to spend time with everyone.
We love you Grandpa and Grandma!
We pray you feel better everyday!

With Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Moss

Clara loved playing in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard!

Da plane, da plane!

These past few months, we've had opportunities to take to the skies!
And we'll take every opportunity we can get!

Jamee's first flight in the Eagle!
(yes, I am actually flying it!  With Adam close by, of course)

Our friend Kelly, took us up in a Beaver.  Clara loved the flight!

Flying in the Carbon Cub with Dave Boyd in Montana

A natural born flyer, just like her Dad!

Adam and Spencer's first flight in the Eagle.... many more to come!
(that's Kelly in his Tailwind in the background!- great pic, Spencer!)

There's Spencer in the front seat!

Clara's first Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Clara!  Her birthday was yesterday, August 10th.  We can't believe that it's been a year.  Time really does go faster when you have kids.  With her birthday on a Sunday, she wore her new dress, and we had a few good friends over for cake and ice cream.

This is her birthday dress from Grandma and Grandpa Fell.
And she's wearing her hair clippie from her Aunt Wendy.

Chocolate Cake with chocolate frosting!  Don't we all wish we could eat it this way?  She was a little hesitant at first, but she loved it!  She had a 4 inch round cake all to herself, and almost ate it all!  Who does she get that from?  Mom or Dad?  Uhh.... both!

Clara's little Owie!

On our last night in Idaho, Clara fell and hurt her little arm.  She was wrapped up in a sling for the next week. Our family wanted to see pictures of her with her little cast on.  I know this is the first of MANY owies yet to come.  What a cutie!

This is the face she pulls when you ask her to smile for the camera.
She smiles, squints and waits for the flash!

Catching Up!

Ok!  So it's been a while since my last post.  Here are a few pictures to let you know some of the things we've been up to during the past 8 months!  I'm new to the blogging world, so forgive me if we're jumping around here!  We loved having some of our family up to visit.  If you need to get away- come see us!

Brandon and Lacie came for a visit.  It rained the whole time (of course) but we had fun.

Clara and her future husband, Kaden!

Here we are with our Boise family Ryan and Emma Beery!

Up on a hike to Twin Falls in Washington.

My mom came to visit in March.  Clara loved getting to know Grandma!
We missed you Grandpa!
Rock on, dude..... Rock on!

Adam's parents visited in April.  We took a tour around Puget Sound.  Perfect weather!
We had a blast!  Clara loves her Grammy and Grampy!

April and Guillermo visited this spring also!  We went up to Victoria, BC, and stopped at the Tulip Festival on the way back towards Seattle!  The fields are really amazing.

Sarah and Maddy came to Idaho all the way from Virginia.  It was so great to see them.
We all stopped in to see Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Fell.  We miss them all so much!

With Brandon and Lacie!

Clara and Kaden!  Notice the flow of drool from both of them.  Their shirts are soaked!
