Hawaii!!

A much needed vacation! We were able to go to Hawaii
with some of Adam's family to celebrate
Alan and Joan's 40th wedding anniversary.
We had a fabulous time, and can't wait to go again!

This sums it up.... beach, beach and more beach.
Clara still asks if we can go to the beach in Hawaii almost everyday.
She loved playing in the sand- she could dig for hours.

Just chillin'! What did our parents do without ipods?!
She was a great traveler! Very patient and easy-going.

Our first day in the water.

With Uncle Aaron.

In Downtown Waikiki.

With Aaron and Wendy in downtown Waikiki.

Swimming like a dolphin on Daddy's back. She loved it!

At the Tabernacle on Easter Sunday

These trees were so interesting! Vines would hang down and eventually
anchor into the ground and become like trunks or roots.
Kind of creepy and cool at the same time!

Up above the Punchbowl.

Clara and cousin Liam.

This is Pali Lookout. I wanted to show the amazing mountains
that were on either side of us. It was like out of a movie or off of a postcard.

Alan, April, Aaron, Adam and Clara.

It was so windy, but such an amazing view!

I love this smile! She was finding rocks to throw in the water.
Adam asked her to show him each rock. Finally, we got a good picture!

It rained so hard the day we were at Waimea.
This is the 'I don't know, raised shoulder' look.

Despite the rain, we still played in the water and on the beach.

Snow cones with ice cream? YUM!!

Two of my most favorite people!
Happy 40th Anniversary!

Dinner at Dukes!

You can bet Clara's eyes lit up when she saw Elmo!

Snorkeling in Hanauma Bay. My absolute favorite place!
We had a blast! Saw so many fish!

On the hike back up!

The LDS Temple in Laie. Wish we had more pictures here,
but we were in a time crunch. Oh, well, we'll just have to go again soon!

Dinner at the Polynesian Cultural Center.

After dinner, they feed the leftover rolls to the koi and tilapia.
Regina let Clara feed the fish. She was more focused on the bread than the fish!

Clara loved the FIRE during the show!
It really was an amazing performance.

Our last stop: USS Missouri.
We had such a great time and can't wait to go again!

Family Visits- Spring 2010

We always love it when family comes to visit!

Adam's mom and sisters came for a surprise quick trip!
It was so nice to relax and visit with them!
I wish we could see each other more often.
(and I wish I had more pictures of their visit!)

Brandon, Lacie came over in March!
Here is Lacie with their sweet baby, Macie!

Clara holding Macie!

I love this 'deer-in-the-headlights' look from Macie!
She is so cute and such a good baby.

Brandon before dinner... so excited to dive right in!

During dinner... still surviving.

After dinner... full yet?
(p.s. this is a typical 'Brandon face'. I LOVE IT!!)

It's so fun to have family here, and so sad when they have to leave.

Why We LOVE Washington!

After 4 years, I still don't know if we
consider ourselves 'Washingtonians' yet,
but here are a few of the amazing sites of living near Seattle.
I'm planning on adding more pics to this....

Deer in the backyard. I can never be used to seeing this!

Pike Place. Fresh fruit and veggies all the time!

Our Sweet Clara

Just a few of the MANY cute pictures of our little girl!
We are loving every minute of it!

Ready for a Sunday walk. She chooses her boots and her hat!

Practicing her scissors.

So, I had to post this picture!
We were in the car, I noticed she was falling asleep and I wanted her to
stay awake until we got home. So I kept asking her to open her eyes.
She tried and tried so hard to open her eyes, but could only get her mouth to open!
Man, I wish I had this on video!

Showing off a new 'do!
