A much needed vacation! We were able to go to Hawaii
with some of Adam's family to celebrate
Alan and Joan's 40th wedding anniversary.
We had a fabulous time, and can't wait to go again!
This sums it up.... beach, beach and more beach.
Clara still asks if we can go to the beach in Hawaii almost everyday.
She loved playing in the sand- she could dig for hours.
Just chillin'! What did our parents do without ipods?!
She was a great traveler! Very patient and easy-going.
Our first day in the water.
With Uncle Aaron.
In Downtown Waikiki.
These trees were so interesting! Vines would hang down and eventually
anchor into the ground and become like trunks or roots.
Kind of creepy and cool at the same time!
Up above the Punchbowl.
Clara and cousin Liam.
This is Pali Lookout. I wanted to show the amazing mountains
that were on either side of us. It was like out of a movie or off of a postcard.
I love this smile! She was finding rocks to throw in the water.
Adam asked her to show him each rock. Finally, we got a good picture!
Snow cones with ice cream? YUM!!
Two of my most favorite people!
Happy 40th Anniversary!
Dinner at Dukes!
You can bet Clara's eyes lit up when she saw Elmo!
Snorkeling in Hanauma Bay. My absolute favorite place!
We had a blast! Saw so many fish!
On the hike back up!
The LDS Temple in Laie. Wish we had more pictures here,
but we were in a time crunch. Oh, well, we'll just have to go again soon!
Dinner at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
After dinner, they feed the leftover rolls to the koi and tilapia.
Regina let Clara feed the fish. She was more focused on the bread than the fish!
